Help Grill get better.

Grill is open source. If you’d like a change, you can make it.

Why it matters

The judge is one model, from a different company than the assistant you think with. That’s the point of Grill. Privacy comes first too. No ads. No selling your data. No training on your decisions. Grill is paid for by subscriptions only. The improvements people want are how both of those stay true.

Three ways to help

  1. Suggest an idea. Say what you’d like Grill to do. Don’t paste a real decision. Issues are public.
  2. Pick up a good first issue. These are small, and already scoped.
  3. Improve the docs, or the judge prompts. The guides live in docs/. The paste-route prompt is prompts/grill.md.

How a contribution gets reviewed

Open a pull request on GitHub. Run the tests first. A low-risk change, such as the docs or a new example, can merge itself once the checks are green. A change to the judge, to privacy, or to keys is read by a person. CONTRIBUTING.md has the local setup, how to run the tests, and what a pull request should include.

Two things aren’t negotiable. The privacy promise above stays as written. The judge stays one model from a different company. A pull request that drops either one won’t be merged.
